Le Faure is in the
countryside near Gensac, midway between St.Emilion and Ste.Foy-la-Grande, 50 kms east of
Bordeaux in South West France. By
Car. Driving from the North of France is straightforward, and it takes
around 8 hours from Calais, Autoroute is available. Advantage of being able to bring back
wine.
By train. Eurostar from London St.Pancras to
Lille or Paris, TGV to Libourne, 30 kms from the Festival. Thalys from Netherlands,
Belgium, to Paris. Paris to Libourne or Bordeaux by TGV. Pickup and return can be
arranged. Cost of train around £130 from London, £40 from Paris.

Guests can choose between "doing their own thing" during the day, (golf at Château Vigiers, canoeing, fishing, tennis
(our own court), swimming in the pools at each house) or joining in the group visits to
the special attractions of the region, especially the famous wine châteaux. Each evening
we will gather in la Musique to commence the evening’s entertainment. |
